Screwe up stuff messing with WMP

I messed with my Vista's WMP11 and rolled it back to WMP10. Everything worked fine with it, but I wanted to install PlayOn which prompted me I needed WMP11. I decided to update to WMP11. Simple right? Wrong! Who new WMP11 is part of the Vista OS? And I know just enough to be dangerous. Once Vista didn't recognize that I had WMP10 and wouldn't allow me to simply update, I decided to delete the WMP folder. Boy was that stupid. I messed around to no avail deleting WMP entries in my registry and app folders. Getting stupider...Well finally I gave up, and decided to go ahead and install the SP2 I hadn't gotten around to as a last resort. Luckily, I woke up (that afternoon) and WMP11 was working. But now it seems I have screwed things up. My computer has given me several messages regarding things in my registry and what bit OS I am using. Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I installed and deleted WMP12beta (turns out to be 64 bit, when I am 32 bit). Sure that didn't help things. I also messed up a license to a program I need to use. I don't have a vista installation CD and all the installs and uninstalls pushed me past the restore point I need. Does anyone have any advise to get my system relatively back to normal? I have run CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare3.

I'll give it a try. I have manually fixed many of my licensing problems and things have been running better now.
