    Hello guys,

I currently play a online game called Ragnarok Online, basically what it is, is a MMORPG-type game where players can choose a job such as a swordsman, and take on monsters, bosses w/ friends and such, it's a pretty fun classic game that was popular in the mid 2000's. Still awesome to this day, in my opinion.

So yeah, every time I launch this game on my desktop, called TalonRO, I get a script error now! It's a really annoying problem, and troublesome to see it all the time. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?? I mean, I can still log in and play, but it's very irritating to see it pop up every time I open TalonPatch so that I can play (which is what it is called) to click "Yes" or "No" just to get pass it and start game.. This is what the game menu looks like on my laptop (look at picture). I attempted to uninstall and then reinstall game files to no avail.. I also put allow traffic all the way for anything related to TalonRO (I use Privatefirewall 7.0). Online game server has been around for a decade now and has it's own forum for registration and everything. Been on for years with no problems. I trust them quite a bit for security. Anyhow they just had this new menu up as you can see on the picture, before they didn't and when you launch game, you just had to login, no menu. Looks awesome now.. except for the script error I get all the time now..

If anyone wants to know how this even happened, here's the story. What happened was I tried launching TalonPatch (TalonRO online game icon on my desktop) as a shortcut from a external hard drive via a 10-port usb hub that had the TalonRO program files and the drive had minimal power trickling into it.. (I've been playing TalonRO using the drive that holds the TalonRO files that has full power plugged in for a while and it works very well with no issues) Anyhow, I figured not much power is required for the hard drive, so I ejected the power jack that came with the 10 port USB in order that I save power.. and since my laptop is able to still read the drive WITHOUT the power jack plugged in to the 10 port USB splitter, I thought, hey why not since it's only one hard drive plugged into one usb port, all the other usb ports are not being used.. so there must be enough power on the drive to launch talonpatch... but that was a bad assumption.. the automatic updates for in-game special effects, story, palettes, character models, etc that were applied to the launched talonpatch program menu (the pic shown) somewhat froze and it was not responding. After waiting for a little while, I decided to go to task manager to force-ably close it.. it worked. This time around, I plugged in some more power to the usb hub that is connected to the external hard drive.. Kept getting an error on my taskbar bottom right. Restarted my PC and finally talonpatch booted up, got the updates done, but this time I get the script error.. now every time I boot up talonpatch, I get it all the time.

Alright lol sorry if that was a bit too much to suck in lol. But yeah that basically summed it up. If you guys wanted to know, my laptop is very clean, no malware, viruses, spyware of any sort right now. I use several security software programs installed such as: avast(free edition), malwarebytes, CCleaner, SpywareBlaster, SUPERAntispyware, TDSSKiller, Revo uninstaller, avast's boot-time scan on a daily basis to check for anything harmful that's on my PC. I don't go to any adult websites or any other suspicious sites. I defrag every now and then, last defrag was several months ago. Thanks to this website in the past, I was able to get rid of some annoying ads and some spyware/malware/rootkit problems, etc. Now I'm back again for a little bit. You guys know your stuff to help out, so I really trust you guys.

Any help would be really, really appreciated. I even posted about this on their forums... but absolutely no one has an answer.. probably because they don't know a solution, just not advanced enough how to fix and can't reply with a "I'm not sure".. Anyhow I hope you guys do!! Thanks!

Did you read the message? An error occurred in the script on this page. It is a coding error on the page on the internet. You can't "fix the script"
You report the coding error to the website owner and turn off script error reporting in your browser so you don't see the popup.
What browser and version so I can post instructions for your browser?

    Windows 7 Ultimate.

Interesting. I see.. Anyway I use Mozilla Firefox mainly. I also have Internet Explorer and Google Chrome installed on my PC but I rarely use them; only just in case Mozilla doesn't work.

There used to be a setting to turn off script errors in Firefox. I think it has been removed.
When searching for "turn off script errors in Firefox" all I found was two rather useless sites.
