we are running a domain here at school and we have a logon script and everything but i was wondering if there was any script that could be sent out to all the comptuers or selected computers to shut them down on a certain day of the week at a certain time that way we don't forget to and it gets done. dose anyone know how we could do this?

You could make a batch file to run the command:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe -s

which would make it shutdown. and then use the scheduled tasks manager to make a scheduled task to run the batch file every certain day at a certain time. You would have to put the batch file on every computer though.

that's tru but i think it would be easier to have the server send out a script or somthin ya know. so for today i have to go shut them all down :(
