I just aquired a non-working P3 Compaq server the other day and managed to retrieve 512MB ECC SDRam and 4 Scsi HOTswap Cab Drives (2x40gig and 2x9.1gig). Is there any way of getting these drives to work in another server or will they only work in another of the same model Compaq server? Being HOTswap drives they have no power connector on the rear, only the ULTRA 3 Scsi connector, as the power was supplied via the Caddy in which they sat.

    They are : 2x36.4GB COMPAQ 10,000 RPM
    WIDE ULTRA 3 SCSI
    MODEL NUMBER BDO3664553

    2X9.1GB COMPAQ 10,000 RPM
    WIDE ULTRA 3 SCSI
    +12V 1.20A +5B 1.00A
    COMPAQ MODEL BD00962A66

I have numerous Scsi cards lying around and wanted to use them for bootdisks if possible.
