scvhost.exe

Question..........I know svchost.exe is something from Microsoft but that it can also be a virus(or something of that nature), but am I really supposed to have 6 of them running in my processes?

if you have this running then yes you have a virus can you recheck you've spelt it correctly are you sure you don't mean svchost.exe

I rechecked and it is scvhost.exe and there are 6 of them running, I have done a virus check all the spyware checks (adaware, spybot, swshredder, and all the others that are listed to do before posting)and online virus scanning. I have done everything I know to do.
