Seagate buy's Maxtor for $1.9 Billion

    I just wonder how that will affect the quality of Seagate drives? Or, on the other hand, the quality of Maxtor drives? I wonder what the next big 'buy out' will be, Nvidia buying ATI, or maybe Intel buying AMD!!!:confused:

    Doubt it. Either would practically be a monopoly.

    And there will be one less company to hate for "sub-quality." Nearly as many hate Seagate as hate Maxtor who also don't like Western Digital or Fuji.....
