HELP!!!! I have a Seagate FreeAgent Desktop External 250GB USB Drive. All was working wonderfully and then after I upgraded to Windows XP Service Pack 2 I can no longer access my drive. I can see it in the tab to safely remove the hardware. I can see it in the device manager under hard drive, and it tells me it is working fine. When I go out to disk management, it shows the drive as Disk 5 and online, but all of the space is unallocated. I have data on the drive and I am not sure if the upgrade to SP SVC PK 2 caused the error. I found that there might be a hotfix, but I can not seem to find the right one. I am thinking it is KB885464. I can not find the hotfix to save my life and I am at a loss as to how to access my drive. I am mandated to have Svc Pack 2 loaded due to the fact it is a gov't machine. Please help.
