search issues

    For some reason I am unable to search on IE 8 or foxfire. I can type in a web address and go to any web page, I just can not use any search engines. I get time outs. All other wireless connections are able to use search engines it is only this one pc. Any suggestions? :confused

    Greetings, jaeger02...

    First thing I'd try is emptying that machine's temporary internet files cache - better yet, grab CCleaner and run the cleaning routine...

    all temp files have already been cleared with no change. I will look into a CCleaner and run it. Thanks for the suggestion.
