Search problems

When I perform a search and then click on a search result I am redirected to sites like toseeka, monster or spiral to name a few. Some lock up the browser and it has to be close to get out. Or, after backing out of a site and clicking in the same search result you then go to the anticipated site. What is this and is there a fix for it?

 

toseeka and the others are search toolbar. You should go to the malware section and read the stickies first to see if you can get rid of them first by yourself, they are very busy.

Thanks for the replies. I have always came here for downloads and tech articles. Its always been a reliable source of information. First time I had to dig this deep though lol. I purchased the spyware doctor and it killed a bunch of little gremlins. One was a trojan with the name "ruin" All better now but the doctor is a little touchy with the DNS for my connection. Thats what I get for relying on one program for protection.
