Has there been a change to the way IE11 displays search results? This PC is running W7 64bit and IE11but the same issue occurs on another W7 machine but 32 bit running IE10. Also I have seen this issue on an XP machine although my laptop running XP and IE8 does not exhibit this issue.
Until recently if I typed in something into the Google homepage search box I would get a list of results running down the page which if clicked would take me to the site of the selected result. I would call this 'normal' behaviour. Now, if I do the same thing, I get a few shortcuts in blue and a grey message saying something like this search resulted in 364,234 results. There is also a Google text with a number of pages and a next button. These don't work though. Why don't I get the search results listed the way they used to be? I've tried resetting the Advanced options of IE. I've changed the default search engine to Bing (instead of Google) but there is no change. Google Chrome is functioning normally so it seems to be an IE issue. I am totally perplexed. Can somebody help?:confused
