My husband has Windows 98 on his computer. He doesn't like the Search for files and folders that comes with it. Is there a better program I can download for searching for files and folders?

 

Peg, just came across 1 in the Sept 2004, p50, edition of Australia's Internet Directory magazine.

I am about to download it and try it, so no recommendation at present. The review says it is very fast. I also use W98 (SE) and am not very impressed with the MS find attempt. Bazza

Just been to the site. It is a 12mb download so stuff them as far as a dialup is concerned. Also a 14 day trial and you must register and get a code to activate it. So I am still looking also. Bazza
