searchbar installed by itsself...

and i cant get rid of it...

i share my computer with 2 other ppl, someone i dont know who ( could of even been myself)did something on my computer and there is a searchbar installed. Now this morning i wanted to find a crack for a program i have and my nortons detected a virus in a popup. I thought notrtons got it but maybe it didnt. i went looking in the add/remove programs and there is a "SBsoft" thing in my add/remove programs, its not spose to be there, so i click it thinking it will get rid of the search bar well not get rid of it but maybe thats whats put it there and hoping it will get rid of it and it doesnt go anywhere, needless to say the searchbar is still there. i have done all my cleaning up and removal of adds/spyware and stuff and still its there, i need it gone, i have 2 kids that use the computer and i dont need them using this search bar.

i am running win 98 with IE6. i hope thats all you need to know to help me.
