Searchbar toolbar? Spyware? Help!?

Ok on my moms pc downstairs theres something called a searchbar toolbar that is not a toolbar. You cant get rid of it or nothing... Not to mention this pc has been running like shit since it got on and I cant find it anywhere in the system. So is it spyware or a virus or what? And did I mention it comes up without even opening internet explorer. Some plz help also big give away as to why I think its spyware is... on the bottom right hand corner of the tool bar it says 2. free spyware scanner and 3. spyware nuker 4.Which spyware removal Utility...

And it says Free$$$ to the left of the 5 random options that display.

Plus the search bar on it doesnt even work so what good is this thing so someone help me out............... Please...

 

Yea I found out it was spyware and it was also a virus at the same time I got my really smart freind of mine to come to my house after school and fix it for me now thefamily computer is flawless and this one is just always gonna be a nice one wish id get out to buy a desktop sooner or later to make life easier.
