Searchforit

Hello everyone, long time..no problems..til now.
SEARCHFORIT keeps coming up when I run Spybot S&D. I have removed it with S&D a number of times and now I find the tricky little bastard has found a way to uncheck itself from protected items in Spywareblaster. This isn't causing any problems on my computer yet, except for the fact that I'm tired of seeing it come up when I run Spybot. Anyone run into this one before??

Thanks Major Attitude, I'M checking that out now, can't run Ad-Aware though, I'm running win 95 OSR2. Can I go into Regedit and remove the CLSID that keeps unchecking itself in Spywareblaster? And if so, could you tell me what root the CLSID's are under I haven't been there in a while. Thanks again

 

Hello, sorry couldn't reply to say thanks once again for the help last night. I had followed the instructions on the pest patrol page and disabled scripts. Chas , sorry I read the pest patrol stuff before reading the thread . Which of course explained exactly what was going on with the search for it stuff, anyway thanks again for for the help. My machine would be dead if it wasn't for you guys.
