Searching for Video compression software

    I am looking for software that will :

    CONVERT video recorded with windows media player to a format that I can then COMPRESS and then burn to a standard 4.7mb dvd--been looking a while with no luck. My assumption is that the media player video files can't be compressed ( in thier current format ) and then burned to dvd. If there is an easier way to do this, I would love to know.

    Why are you posting this a second time just a few hours after you first asked? I mean you didn't even bother to fix the spelling errors (IE: 4.7mb = 47.GB). I answered you in your first thread.
