Second hard drive missing now

    my second hard drive is not showing up anymore on my computer. not sure where it went....i have music and pictures on it only. please help

    Hi and welcome to MG .. can you give us a bit more info and the specifications of your computer with the operating System you are using XP or Vista etc. When you start computer press ''DELETE' button a few times to get into the BIOS/CMOS set up, using your arrow keys go to 'Standard CMOS Features' or equivilant, press enter and see if your lost hard Drive is listed there then post back. :)

    1) try to physically disconnect and then connect your HDD back again
    2) try to replace the SATA or IDE cable with another one
