Security Camera direct to computer?

This may be an odd question but I have wireless security cameras on my property. I would like them to atleast be viewable on the computer but would prefer them to be record and save files onto my computer. Like maybe make a file every 24 hours. Is this something that is possible? Keep in mind I already have wireless router in my house so maybe I can use that somehow. Below is the information about the camera's.

I doubt your camera's use the same freqencies as your wifi router. I believe you would have to hook up the receiver (for the cameras) to your pc. I know there is software avalible as far as the recording/viewing aspects go.

 

You'll probably need to get different cameras designed specifically for what you want to do. They'll come with the software you need. You may be able to patch into the cameras that are currently set up by using a video capture card with the appropriate software. If the cameras record to a VCR, or DVR, you can probably patch into it. Wirelessly? Probably not. You'd need to find out the make and model of the cameras, and contact the manufacturer or visit their web site...
