Is there a way to get a site to quit asking about security warnings/certificates? All of the Army websites I log into ask me for my username and password (which it refuses to save) and asks about the security certificate.

The Security Certificate the Army uses is expired, and until they update it, you are going to continue to get all those security warnings asking you to accept the certificate. Army sites utilizing the AKO UserName/Password won't retain that information by design.

    This just started happening...
When I log onto the website for Microsoft Outlook Web Access to get my office email from my home computer I get this message now that says,
"There is a problem with this websites security certificate."
I go ahead and click on the option,
Continue to this website (not recommended)
I can access my email ok but there is that menacing red bar with the certificate error warning looming on the top of the page.

I know the website is ok. How can I get this certificate thing to go away?
    Thanks in advance. :)

The certificate is not valid. Most likely it is expired. Tell the Network Administrator, that there is a problem with their security certificate. If this is a Military Server then tell DOIM.

In the unlikely event the certificate is fine:
    - Make sure the web mail address you are connecting to is the same as the address in the certificate.
    - Make sure your system clock is correct
    - Install their private certificate into your root certificate store

I have had many problems with this Certificate mess at the Police Dept using our law enoforcement sites and at the hospital using the secure medical sites. I have found some sites to have legit certs in current date and still got those errors. Our main site we use, it's a secure law enforcement site. I had to roll back to IE6 because it wouldn't work properly in IE7 due to the certification crap causing it to close.

It's up to you but you can disable this by going into Tools > Internet Options > Advanced Tab > Very Bottom under Advanced

    Uncheck the following:

    • Warn about certificate address mismatch*
    • Check for server publisher's certificate revocation
    • Check for server certificate revocation*
