security settings

    A game I play "Sab golf" which I have played many times, when I tried to play it the other day a box appeared that said it couldn't be played because of my security settings. Other games gave me the same message.


    I am using the free version of AVG,, and I believe that I hit something in box that appeared to allow the game to play that appeared that would have allowed the game to run.

    I have windows 8.1 installed. and using java as well.

    How can I find the area to clear this up or change settings.
