This popped-up on my PC when I went to chromeplus.org (from MG's) --> hxxp://www3.security-power31.co.cc/?p=p52dcWplanKHnc3KbmNToKV1iqHWnG2XXpeYx2lpaJiexA==

I'm not certain but I think my Firewall (Comodo free) provided this warning (?).

Any info known here on this?

Still wondering though, who sent me this "Bad" page warning, Comodo, or Avast? ~ OR maybe "WOT"??

 

For me, Avast is throwing a "threat has been detected", and "Trojan Horse Blocked" as soon as I run the mouse pointer over the "security-power31" link you provided. And is blocking access to site.

Arrived at a page with a rotating green circle and thats it.
Prolly some malicious code. Would not have done this on a Windows machine

Well you two are speaking a bit "over my head" ... I hope I'm "ok" (?), but the thing is, I was linked to it from "here"... from MG's !?!

 

Just to be on the safe side grc, I'd run some scans with your installed security apps.(all of them) one at time of course.

If anything at all comes up during any of the scans, it's off to the READ & RUN ME FIRST. Malware Removal Guide for you.

Can you provide an MG link to where you found the link(security-power31.co.cc/?) you provided in your first post?

What we're saying is, that both W.O.T.(Web Of Trust) and Avast are telling us that the page your "security-power31.co.cc/?" link leads to, contains trojan malware.

 

Thanks to all ... I was searching through the "Browsers" section here, and came-across "ChromePlus", and was intrigued (as I had just started using Chrome, and thought I'd take a peek at it), opened it up, and then opened-up under "Author" > "chromeplus.org", best I recall ...... that was when I got the warning, and went no further.

Running scans now, will update accordingly......
