security woes

I recnetly purchased a laptop a couple months ago, it is a compac with windows vista. Tha mail program is "winmail" and out of nowhere it is asking me for a user name and a password. Yesterday the mail program worked fine with no log in needed. But today it is asking for a login.
Can anyone tell me how to fix it.

you have to supply your username and password for the program to grab the email from the server. If you don't, you'll be staring at a blank screen. As the screen shot shows at the above link, go into the program again and set up the account for the site you grab your email from.

normally you have a login code that you received from your ISP try that it works on my PC

some times my windows mail does the same thing an i use my ISP login to get it started
