Selective sharing in a network

I networked 5 pcs (windows xp peer to peer), everything is working fine, all are connected, sharing file and printer and internet. What I want is to disable file and printer sharing on one pc but still want it to share internet. Is it possible?

 

If you are running XP (and perhaps in Vista as well) you can shut off your printer and file sharing by:
start>control panel>windows security center>windows firewall>exceptions
and then uncheck the file and printer sharing option

 

That will turn off this features in all 5 pcs. I want to turn off file and printer sharing in only one computer.

 

Go to Control Panel, Network Connections, right click on the Local Area Connection, and select Properties. The General tab of the panel should show "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks". Highlight it and click on Uninstall.

No it wont, it will only disable that machine from file and printer sharing.

 

Right, and that's what he wants to do. Am I missing your point?

Read all the posts, in an earlyier one he stated, that doing so would turn it off on all pcs, i was reinforcing the fact, that no, it will only do it on the one machine he made the change to.
