Selective Startup

If I open msconfig/general, I see that the computer is in Selective Startup mode. If I change to Normal Startup and reboot, it stays that way, but if I check later, it's back to Selective mode.
What's wrong?

Also check Services.
If one service is unchecked you'll see Selective startup.

Nothing checked.

It is staying in "Normal startup" for the time being. I have rebooted three times and let computer go to sleep, and still OK. I'll watch it for awhile.

I don't know how it got to "selective" in the first place. I was told that if there is a problem, it goes to selective automatically. ????

 

Yes, I have not seen this happen.
Which version of Windows are you using?

 

Win 7

 

We'll just have to hold thumbs...
Let us know if it reverts back to Selective startup.
