I am trying to set it up so that my guest account can only access one web page. I have a website that lists all the movies I own so that people can see what I have and borrow them. The only problem is that people who come over to borrow movies also want to surf the web on my computer, and I don't want to allow them to do that. I only want them to be able to access my web site, and that's it.

I am running Windows XP, I have two computers, one has Home and the other Pro. I only need to have the guest account enabled on one computer, so if it is easier to do what I want in XP Home or Pro, I could just use one computer. I am thinking that I may just need a web filter, but I don't know of any free filters that allow you to specify specific websites that you can visit, and block the rest of the web for a specific user. It is possible that I set up a filter on the computer that has the guest account, and then if I ever use that computer, just disable the filter. Thanks.

Have you tried to customize your IExplorer settings so that no other site would be allowed?

Never ever tried that but maybe youre llucky ;) Try to set your IE to deny all, and register your website at your "trusted sites"

Thanks for your suggestion. I guess I don't know what I am doing, because I can't find the deny all in the IE settings. I have added that page to my "trusted sites". I guess I should also mention that I use Firefox as my default browser, but if I can disable the access through IE, I will just need to set it up so that Firefox cannot be used on the guest account, or set Firefox the same way.

well, since you already have your movies listed on your site, why don't you just save the .html file(s) to your computer? then just have a shortcut or bookmark to the file(s), blocking all access to the internet. ;) - sos

Thanks. I actually have a couple scripts that I use as well, and I am working on getting another script written so that all someone has to do is click on a link to either borrow or return a movie, fill out a form, and it updates the MySQL database for me, so it is a 'maintainance free' site. I guess letting them access the internet isn't too bad, because most of the time they just check e-mail. Thanks all for your suggestions.
