    Hiya Everybody ~

Sorry to bug ya'll again ...but as you all know I just got a system from cyperpowerinc.com and they let me configure a motherboard that was INCOMPATIBLE with dual memory but sent me the dual memory anyway and charged me for it ..of course! It's a BIG mess! And I'm very UNHAPPY!! :( But they agreed to change the motherboard if I send the PC back FREE of shipping but I still have to pay the difference in motherboards. It's the best I'm gonna get. SOoooooo ...this is what I need to know ...

...which one should I get???

    Here's what I have now:

    Turbo X-Infinity 420W Case (BLUE)
    AMD™ Athlon™ XP-3000+ Processor (Barton 512K L2 Cache)
    ASUS A7N8X-X nVidia nForce-2 400 FSB 8X AGP w/ USB2.0, LAN, &; AUDIO
    512MB (256MBx2) PC3200 DDR400 Dual Channel (Major_Brand)
    80GB 7200 RPM ATA 100 HARD DRIVE
    GeForce FX5200 128MB W/CRT, TVO, & DVI
    CD-RW 52X32X52 (BLACK)
ELEMENT 17inch .27 MM SVGA MONITOR
    3D WAVE ON-BOARD 5.1 SOUND CARD

Here's what I can choose from to replace the motherboard ...

    ASUS A7N8X nVidia nForce-2 ULTRA 400 FSB 8X AGP w/ USB2.0, LAN, & AUDIO [+19]
    ASUS A7N8X-E DELUXE nVidia nForce-2 ULTRA 400FSB SATA AGP8X W/ USB2, LAN, IEEE, & AUDIO [+70]

Which one is better and why?? How big is the difference really? Because I can't afford too much more... What's worth it and what am I paying more for?? Know what I mean??? I tried going to Asus' website to learn more about them but it's all GREEK to me ...so I need your help... PLEASE!!
    ;)

You've been soooo AWESOME!! Thank you sooo very much!!! :D

    Hi there.

Im sorry to hear about your problems.

If you have the money i would get the Asus A7N8X-E DELUXE. I have heard great things about it, and i am even considering replacing my current motherboard with it. It also features SATA which will provide you with more upgrade options in the future.

A7N8X-E. It works with what I've got now and gives me room for the future. When I bought mine, there was only $20.00 difference between the two.
