    Hello all.

So, I have a friend in the UK and I want to send her a birthday gift. It's nothing rare, one those gadgets that can be found in hundreds of e-shops. My thought is that I will order it from a UK e-shop and write her address as the recipient. Would you happen to know if it is as simple as that? I am within the EU so I don't think there will be any problem with my card buying from a UK shop.

Depends on the store, some will let you do that, but there are some that wont let the shipping address be different from the billing address for security reasons.
Easiest way would be to contact a store and ask them.

    I used to use E-buyer or Play.com.
Both used to have great value and service, but I havn't lived in UK for 6 years and don't know if they are still as good.
