Sergeant to Staff Sergeant

Made a lot of posts today. Hope I'm helping not hindering. Sometimes your last post seems to end the thread, so you never know. Happens to me a lot. Went from Sergeant to Staff Sergeant as well. Spending too much time here I guess. 500+ posts in under 6 months. Never thought anything like that would happen when I first became an MG member. Have learnt a hell of a lot, made a few friends, not any enemies I hope, and downloaded a lot of free stuff to help my laptop keep ticking on. Long live MG. Bazza

 

Jeez Bazza, you sound as depressed as Phantom. I hope you meant your good advice helps to solve the problem not pour cold water on it!
Is it the weather in Aussie this week or something?

Yeah, congrats, Bazza! I never thought I would have 3,500+ posts either. I never have been much of a forum person.

Seems I have a rep. for being a tad depressed. ...Such is life.

Dunno about the weather, as young Bazza's in Queensland, which is tropical and further away from me than Malaysia!

It's interesting how many people around here were never involved in any forums, and are amazed at how involved they've gotten. MG is addictive.

 

Hahahaha. Still in a great piece of God's Own Country. Beautiful one day, perfect the next. Far better than bloody Goulburn anyhow. Still with AOL for the moment till I move back into my place. Least we got a cricket test here and everybody is raving about Cairns and the Cazaly oval. For you Yanks. Cricket is played........ Ah forget it, you cannot explain cricket to the Yanks. I've tried, more than once. As recently as a week ago to some of the ex's rellies.

Thanks for the cheerios from all. Just a bit down, I guess. We all like feedback from those we try and help. I remember when Adrynalyne spat the dummy and was gonna pull the pin. Glad he didn't BTW. I realise the number of posts just relates to the number of posts and not to the quality of the posts, but it is still nice to look at the number and think of how many people you have tried to assist.

Talking about crocs and things that bite. Bloody great shark got a surfer off Western Australian coast the other day. Bit the poor bloke in half, board and all. Shark estimated at 4 metres long, about 15 feet for you non-metric types. They are still looking for it, to kill it or move it on. Surfers back in the water the next day. Ah well. Bazza
