ok heres the problem, my freinds computer running pheonix, windows xp came up with NTLDR missing, when he turned it on after taking the power lead out (when it was shut down) and moving it then puting the lead back in and turning it on, now everytime the compuer is turned on it turns restarts itself and when a windows boot disc is in the drive it has to be restarded a few time before it can read the disc and then after reading it comes up with 8 or 9 lines of error information, which then has to be restarted, my friend mentioned spy boot a few times but im not sure if tht causes very serious problems such as this, HELP

If You have Windows XP Bootable cd, boot through it ,You will see a blue screen,it will ask for reinstalltion ,or New installation and repair ,Press 'r' for repair
    select path (e.g:c:\windows)press 1 or 2 according to the display,enter password ,
you will get root directory where you can type fixboot command or restart the computer.
