serious help needed!

This is gonna be kind of long, but heres my prob.

I bought the 20.00 dollar Soyo K7VME kit. It sucked. With both sides of the case off, and a fan blowing directly into it, i was hittin temps like78 celsius. not cool. so i put a duron processor in it, less that 1ghz i think, and overclocked it to 2.0 ghz (which is faster than i had my 2200 clocked in it. i also removed the cooling fan and booted up by holding the insert key.) My temps got over 140 before it died, but that of course burned the processor and the mobo to pieces. Now I need a good one, a better case with power supply, and a vid card, but ive only got about 100.00 dollars. Heres where you guys come in.

My specs.

512 MB PC2700 ram
52x cdrom
40 gb wd hdd
1 floppy drive.
thermaltake volcano cooling fan for AMD up to 2800+
AMD 2200+ T-bred OEM

What i need.
1. I need a decent overclockin board, something that can get me maybe 200 or 300 mhz, since i have a slower processor. (not that 1.8 is slow, but...)

2. A video card. For now I can deal with only 64 mb, or even 32 depending on the price, and I will upgrade later.

3. A decent looking case, preferably blue, black or silver, but thats not important.

4. I may need a PS, but i have a 350 watt that i can use if need be.

Please help. I want my GAMES. Diablo 2 and dungeon siege mostly, so i can deal with the weak vid card, cause they arent very demanding. I DO NOT want onboard video, but i do need sound.

you might as well do it right if your going to be overclocking, If i were you i would spend that 100 bucks on a good motherboard instead of buying some cheap shit board!!

nope. i need everything still. i found a 92 dollar board on sale, and between it, and that case on my mod post, it will only cost 39.99!! (clearance for the new models of the board, but it has good reviews) with a 64 mb vid card, (a radeon 7000) i can spend about 82.80. that includes shipping and everything. i could, but i think im gonna wait, and get a little more dinero ($$$)

 

Personally I'd go for an Abit board, because I like them (good overclockers!) AN7 or a NF7-S. Nice boards, and not stupid expensive either.
