Hey guys, I have a very unusual problem with my current Acer Aspire 5670 laptop.

When windows boots up normally, the laptop keyboard appears to be disabled when it reaches the user accounts area where one enters passwords.

However, when I boot my computer up in safe mode, the keyboard appears to be fine.

In order to try and fix this I have done the windows rollback, with no luck, and also tried disabling all non-windows services and startup things from within msconfig, again without success.

Is there anything else I could try? I'd greatly appreciate any help you guys could give. I'll continue browsing your general faqs...

    Cheers,

    -Jon

Oh and I've run basic malwear and virus scans from bit-defender, and adaware.

I really feel pretty stumped here though.
