Seriouse harddrive bootup issue!

Hi there, im having a serios problem, but instead of explaining it fully, i've drawn a diagram.

The progress i've made so far is using the xp boot up cd and the recovery console (using r) and typing the following commands ;

chkdsk /p
fixboot
fixmbr

They all worked, and it got my partition working! .. - but for some reason after it gets past the xp logo and loads my user settings.. it then stops and im left with a blank screen with my mouse pointer ( can no longer do anything more )


I'd love if you could help, and this isn't a case of just reinstalling the programs i had on there or just backing up the data because its programs i no longer have. So i desprately need to get this to successfully boot

I just tried using safemode and it says "loading personal settings" then flicks to "saving your settings" and keeps doing this over and over.

Where is the registry located on the harddrive?
