Server 2003 Restart?

    Ive got Windows Server 2003 Enterprise VOL (or VLK, i cant remember) installed on my PC and whenever i try to shut it down, it just restarts itself...

    I click Start, Shut off, SELECT Shut down and then click ok and it just goes Windows is Shutting Down... then restarts... I had to use my PC's power button to shut it off...

    You paid 4000 dollars to use Win2003 Enterprise as a desktop OS?

    Have you turned off the auto restart option in System Properties> Advanced> Startup and Recovery?

    Nope, got the full 6 versions of enterprise, web and standard in Retail and Corporate at a local auction for $100. Sounded too good to be true untill i got it.

    What about safe mode? ;) Same thing?

    Typically, if you got what you got for 100 bucks, then uh, well, hrrmp. a;lsdkjf Illegal (not on your part, but the seller).

    Cheapest that I've seen is $500 for 5 cals. (non - enterprise)
