I received this confusing (for me, at least) error message while trying to watch a downloaded video file. I had watched a different video just a few moments earlier and that one played without a problem. Now, I can't play ANY of my videos. Why did I get this error message and how do I fix it? I'm running Windows 10 Home with Avast Free, IOBit Malware Fighter, and SuperAntiSpyware installed.

Just an update on the Server Execution Failed error: when I booted up my computer this morning, I had no trouble playing videos OR music. Just a temporary glitch? My laptop being a pain in the you-know-what? Who knows? Any thoughts on what could have caused the error?

You didn't mention what program you use to watch videos.

Guess I better not get my laptop wet or feed it after midnight!

I fixed that by installing VLC.
