Service Pack 2 Now Available in french.....

Just to tell you that the french version is out.....

I don't know if they will having the same problem has the english version
or they have fix a few bug ???

The files is: WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-FRA.exe(267995 Megs)

If there were/are bugs, do you think that MS would leave a buggy english SP2 for download and put up a fixed French version?

I assume that if SP2 ENGLISH messes up such popular proggies as 'Nero Burning ROM'; 'Unreal Tournament 2003'; 'Diskeeper'; as well as various MS apps. -then it will do the same en FRANCAIS.

I have Nero working fine on my computer. --version 5.5.x

I have Ut 2003 working fine on my computer.

I have SP2 RTM installed.

Not all the apps MS mentioned are actually having problems.

 

Outlook 2003 is on that list as well.

I stand corrected. I've yet to install SP2, so I should be more careful(l) of my tone. The software I was mentioning came from the link http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=884130&product=windowsxpsp2
-I didn't list version numbers, nor did I check to see which of these proggies had an update available. While I find it weird that SP2 can adversley affect such common proggies I do apologize for making it sound like SP2 would 'break' these apps.
I'm still a bit leery of it, but I hope my comments haven't steared anyone into not getting the enhancements that SP2 adds -especially the security features.
