Service provider (UK)

Hi, not really a software problem. At the moment am using NTL as my service provider and am not finding them to be great at all, which is the best any ideas? Tara

 

I can tell you that BT are great! I've had DSL from them for 4 years and the service has been 99% reliable!

Wow, you're probably the only person I've met who hasn't had some problem with BT at some point. Both on business and home lines.

Personally, I recommend PlusNet or Force9. (both essentially the same company). Great Customer support, decent speeds and good reliability (most of the time anyway). If there is going to be a problem they won't leave you out in the dark, either, which is what I like the most. Unlike other ISPs they will tell their customers about problems and solutions as they happen.

I think the concencus of opinion is don't get Bulldog, but I'm not sure these days. Maybe they bucked their ideas up since that.
