Service "stopping"

    Greetings,

    On a server running Server 2K, I tried to stop and then restart a Veritas service and it stuck at "stopping". Is there anyway to force the stop without rebooting the server? Just curious. =D

    Some of the core services can not be stopped without restarting the computer. So I'm fairly sure the answer is no it can't be stopped.

    Hey Coco,

    That's what I was thinking too. I have never been able to get one to do a "forced stop", but I was just curious. Thanks =D
