Setting Media Program Defaults?!!

Hi, I want to make all my media files open with MPlayer2 and have gone to the "Set Program Access and Defaults" menu located in 'Start' 'All Programs'. I have clicked 'custom' but the only programs that it gives me as options to select are real player and mp9. How do I make all my mp3 and mpegs that I currently have open automatically with mp2?
