Setting up a Static IP

    Does anyone know how I could set up a static IP for my xbox so I can connect. I'm not sure where to begin. Im using a Netgear WG511v2 wireless router.

    You set the static ip on your xbox no real need to access the router unless you want to port forward the options are in the network setting make sure you set the DNS address to that that is listed under ipconfig of your computer. Normally it will be your routers ip address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2 if you have a modem connected behind the router.
