Several Questions About Fable: The Lost Chapters!

I purchased Fable: The Lost Chapters (PC) earlier today and I have a few questions I'd appreciate being answered so here goes:


1) What is Renown & what does it do/how can it benefit you? By getting it up does it raise your "good" personality?

2) I still have my original clothes the Guild gave me to wear & it says that they have value which I assume means that I can sell them. The thing is, I can't find anybody to buy them so is it possible to sell them?

3) Is there a weight limit to what your character can carry?

4) Is it possible to drop items & if so, how?

5) At the start I heard about potions that can permanently raise your stats. How can I tell the difference between one of these such potions & a normal potion that will only benefit me temporarily?

6) What is the point of style cards as I went to the barber with my 3 hair style cards thinking I'd only be able to choose from the 3 cards I had on me, but I was actually able to choose many more so as I said, what is the point of them?

7) And finally, does the type of food you eat have any affect on your body be it positive or negative (fat/muscle etc)?


Thank you very much & I hope that somebody can help me answer these questions as they'd make the game much easier to understand.

 

1)Renown is just how popular and unpopular you are in the game
2)no you cant sell them I know its annoying
3)Nope for some reason your guy is the incredible hulk on roids even if he is skinny as a stick.
4)nope only sell them
5)those potions have the word "Elixir in them and are RARE" you wont just happen to go to a shop and go like "Hey its an everlasting gobstopper!"
6)style cards are basically a pic for the haircut you want and arent necessary unless the barber doesnt have the style you want same goes for tats
7)yep only in the sense of if you eat too much food you get fat and tofu is for good and crunchy chicks are for evil and meat gives strength points and fish will and carrots skill

 

Style cards will add points in the same way everything else does to Good, Evil, Scary, Good looking..alignment... etc. For example: Regular beard will add 45 points to attractiveness, Pudding Bash haircut will subtract a certain amount. These things affect the way people deal with you. Good combo is scary, good looking for good prices/deals from mercahnts. At least that was the theory...it doesn't work as well as was anticipated, but its there.

Oh and you will find more style cards on various traveling merchants. You can only get the cut or tattoo that either you already have or the hair cutter/tattoo artist has in stock...there are quite a few to be found and some are not being "held" by anyone....

If you go to your personality menu you will see clearly the differences in your stats as you change clothes, amour, hair, and tattoos.
