Severe Lag

    Alright so out of nowhere my internet just starts lagging really bad...i have ran spybot adaware checked for viruses with avg, i do it about 20 times a day trying to get rid of this problem. I talk to roadrunner and all they tell me is to unplug my modem for 2 minutes then plug it back in along with my router. Doesnt work, my ping in games etc is still insane...umm any ideas?
