I'm running xp professional and I have tried & tried & tried to remove those shaded boxes under my desktop icons! [NO CANDO] My brother-in-law running same system right clicks on desktop -arrange icons- unchecks lock web items on desktop, and his shaded boxes disappear! Any ideas?

Wow is this ironic, I have just spent all morning trying to figure just this problem out, finnaly found a great [FREEWARE] program to help with that plus add a few new things.
