I cannot get my one year old computer with XP Windows, working in Microsoft word to print the "Shading". It is not the printer, I have printed from another computer to it and it printed the shading. I went into my settings and do not see a problem there. Any ideas? Thank you for any help you can give me. KMC

Here's something you might try: Click on start, Control Panel, Internet Options. Then click on the tab labeled, "Advanced". Scroll down to "Printing" & check the box that says, "Print Background Colors & Images". Click on "Apply" & then on "OK". Another option: In Microsoft Word, before you print a document, click on "Print Preview". I'm not sure which Version of Word you are running, so I cannot be specific here. Somewhere within the Preview, you may find "Options". Once there, look for a box to check in front of "print background colors & images". Give it a try & keep us posted on your progress. Good Luck! :)shanrene
