First off, what operating system are the two computers using?

Try going to start->run and typing in "cmd" (without the quotations). In the black box, type "ipconfig /all" and press enter. What does it say for both computers?

Once we figure out how to get both computers hooked up to the wireless, and communicating with each other, you can set up Internet Connection Sharing on the computer with the modem, which will let the second computer get online too.

Computer A is wireless correct? If so continue on. Use a cross over cable from ethernet port on computer A to the ethernet port on computer B. On computer A that is connected to the internet right click on the wireless connection in network connection and go into properties then sharing. You'll see a couple boxes to check about sharing in one of the tabs. (not in front of my pc at home where I have this setup). I believe I have my local area connection on computer A static'd as well but can't remember.

I forgot to check my settings at home. I'll send them when I get home this afternoon. Are you using a cross over cable?

First, are both computers wireless capable? If so, turn on wireless at the router. Then on each computer click on My Network Places, and run the setup for wireless network for home or office on each computer. The wizard will configure the network, and each pc should "see" the other on your network. Also, in the choices for the type of network choose the one that has no domain. If the computers are "networked" then you can turn on Internet Sharing.
