shareware programs

What do any of you suggest to use for a shareware program to download music or videos?because everytime I try to use or download morpheus imesh or kazaa all the anti spyware and anti virus on the computer go on.I tried Winmx with mixed results,I used to use the older version of imesh it worked pretty good for a while.Thanx!

 

If I actually had to use one, I would probably pick KazzaLite as it doesn't have the spyware, but is hard to find ( free version ), and will hook up with the Kazza network. I read somewhere two days ago that there is supposed to be a new application out ( may already be ) that uses the BitTorrent software, but doesn't need a centralized server to find other users. Please be advised that downloading copyrighted material is illegal.
