Sharing a Canon i865 - No preview?

Hi,

I have a desktop (Server) and a laptob (Client) on my network.
I share my printer i865 so that I can print with from the laptop while on wireless. So far so good.
A Linksys router is the access point.

The problem: When I try to print from my laptop, I have no possibility to select the option "Preview before printing" simply because it is not active, but the same option is active in my desktop.

Why is it greyed in my laptop?
