Sharing a printer

Hi I am trying to share a printer on Windows XP Professional with a machine on the network running Windows 98. When I attempt to add a printer on the Windows 98 machine I select the printer on the Windows XP machine and it asks me for a password with this share \\computername\ipc$. I have tried every password that is on the XP machine but none of them work. The XP machine has simple file sharing selected. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.
