    Hi,

I am trying to print from my windows 7 laptop to an old Panasonic KX-P3124 dot matrix color printer. The driver for windows 7 doesn't exist and I don't have a parralel port on my laptop (duh.). So I found myself an old PIII plugged in a PCI Wifi card and installed Win XP on it. I can use the printer from it, no problem.
But I'd like to share it to my Windows 7 laptop.

i figured, I can't share it directly through windows, because it's gonna ask me for the windows 7 drivers (wich don't exist), so I tried using PrinterShare without any success.
And I can't even see the winXP computer from Windows 7, even though both are in the same workgroup

I am currently installing Xubuntu on the PIII to see if I can have any more success sharing it through Samba.

I am getting a little out of options, any ideas anyone?

    I found a windows 7 driver!

still can't share the printer, though.
can't even see the XP computer through 7.
