Sharing files with vista

HI myself and a few friends hold gaming nights every now and then and we are slowly all getting vista on own boxes. The ones of us that now have vista seem to have trouble sharing files on our drive, i.e map packs for games and alike. Is there some setting there that we are missing?

P.S this is on a local network
