I have turned on sharing on every computer on my LAN and, while I can print from any of them, I cannot see any files which are located on those computers.

I can see the devices listed on Devices and Printers.

    What am I doing wrong?

I went into File Explorer and in the Quick Access field typed \\jims_desktop\downstairs, which is the name of the computer I was trying to access, and it came up. I was under the impression that if the device could be seen on Devices and Printers, the contents would appear automatically. I am still convinced that this is what should happen; but it is not much of an inconvenience to type the name of the device, especially since the File Explorer holds that information in the entry field.
