    hi.

i have a pc hooked up to the internet via a cable modem. unlimited.
i also recently got a macbook pro. what irritates me is having to swap and share the little blue cord of internet happiness between the two machines.

is it possible for us to share between a pc and a macbook, using a modem? is that the same as networking? do i need a router, am i better off getting wireless?

    thanks in advance!

    k.

    Yes go get a router
Wireless is very convienient just make sure you setup the security on the router properly.
Linksys - DLink - Trendnet are all good routers you will get yeh and nahs on them as issues have been had by all
I think the Mac does wireless n so you can get a n router just make sure its backward compatible with B&G
    :wave
